I Believe in Sri Lanka

My newest engagement is the project "I Belive in Sri Lanka" ...

"An empowered nation is that where the majority of its citizens perceive that their future is in their own hands, that what they do or do not do has an effect on their communities and Nation and that those effects are reflected in a better or spoiled quality of life. If we want to achieve it, it is necessary to make our people realize about their potential and the opportunities around them"

I Believe In Sri Lanka, is a project organized by AIESEC, the largest student-run Organization, present in more that 89 countries, acting as a international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society.

The Project aims to impart new knowledge on Sri Lankan realities, so as to impact people, challenging their beliefs and changing their perception of Sri Lanka, allowing them to see themselves as more active players in Sri Lankan development and future.

for further information drop an e-mail to ibisl.lk@aiesec.net and hopefully we should soon be having www.ibeliveinsrilanka.org up and running.

I'm really positive about the project and in bringing about positive change through the project. :)
